Aleria (formerly Manic Moment, Kestrel, Papagayo) is a classic Holman & Pye designed ketch, built in 1976 in the United Kingdom for delivery to the US.  She is the sister ship to Roger Swanson’s Cloud Ninewhich was one of the first yachts to successfully traverse the NW Passage. She was featured in Cruising World (Quite the Ketch, May 2007: https://www.cruisingworld.com/sailboats/bowman-57-quite-ketch), on coastalboating.net, Bowman 57 Facebook page and on the covers of publications. She is a very comfortable cruiser for crossing oceans as well as living aboard.

Over the past year, she has received new standing rigging as well as receiving a thorough going over with many minor repairs to make her ready for her next adventure.
